This ticket combines a half day (July, Aug, Sept) or ¾ day (Oct) whale watching cruise to view the mighty humpback whale in action aboard the brand New Spirit of Hervey Bay and a one day guided tour of Heritage listed Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world.

These tours can be taken in any combination you desire….whales first day, Fraser second day….Fraser first and whales a couple of days later….the choice is yours.

Please note that both tours depart and return to Hervey Bay after each experience and the fares do not include accommodation.

Fraser Explorer Day Tour includes:

• Courtesy transfers from tourist accommodation
• Barge crossing to Fraser Island in sheltered waters, keep an eye out for dolphins and turtles
• Once on board your airconditioned 4WD coach drive along the sand tracks to Central Station set among the most luxuriant rainforest with awe inspiring forest giants
• Walk along the banks of Wanggoolba Creek, overhung with palms and ferns
• Swim in Lake McKenzie’s crystal-clear water or walk its white sandy beach
• Enjoy a hot and cold buffet lunch at Eurong Beach Resort
• Travel up Seventy-Five Mile Beach to marvel at the coloured sands of the Pinnacles and inspect the Mahono shipwreck that ran ashore in 1935
• Stop for a swim in fast-flowing Eli Creek or take a walk around the banks to admire the wild flowers and bird life
• The most experienced driver guides with first-class commentary
• Tour departs approx 7.15am, returning approx 5.30pm.
